# SimplifyVideo documentation

Documentation for SimplifyVideo, currently in design.

SimplifyVideo is in design. This page exists so the documentation URL is stable from day one — bookmark it and it will fill in rather than move.

## What it will cover

-   **The brief** — what to write, which screenshots are worth supplying, and how much detail actually changes the storyboard you get back.
-   **Editing scenes** — reordering, rewriting, swapping shots, and cutting a beat without the ones after it drifting out of time.
-   **The brand kit** — logo, colours and typeface, how they are applied to every scene, and where a per-video override is allowed.
-   **Templates** — what each one is for and the shape of story it suits.
-   **Formats and export** — aspect ratios, resolution, what a render costs and what happens when one fails.
-   **Catalogue sources** — reading product shots, names and prices from WooCommerce, and re-exporting when they change.

## Shaping it

The open question is which templates earn their place. If there is a video you keep meaning to make and keep not making, the reason you have not made it is the most useful thing you could tell us.
